Suspect in South Africa’s Parliament Fire Appears in Court
Zandile Christmas Mafe was charged with arson, theft, housebreaking and possession of explosives in connection with the fire.
He’s facing five charges currently. Those charges include housebreaking with intent to steal and theft, two counts of arson, possession of an explosive device and destruction of essential infrastructure. The case has been postponed to the 11th of January.
