World Health Chief Issues Zika Warning
Dr. Margaret Chan, the director general of the World Health Organization, said that nations need to invest in their health systems to combat the spread of the Zika virus.

So as leaders of countries, they need to invest in people, making sure they have a decent environment to live in, making sure that the leaders also invest in public health infrastructure, including good health system, with surveillance capability to pick up early trouble so that warnings can be strengthened and take the appropriate public health measures.”
