After Devastating Wildfire, Colorado Faces 10 Inches of Snow
Boulder County residents were met by nearly a foot of snow and single-digit temperatures, after huge fires displaced thousands across the area.
The kids’ playground is just down the street over there, and I can buy new books, I can buy new furniture, but it’s really hard to build back a community and friends and a social network like that. We have a house, no heat, but we still have a house, so, I just want to come make sure that everyone else has heat on this very cold day. We’re lucky we were just displaced. We got heaters. We have power. We don’t have gas. Probably going to be a week. So we’re making do, staying with friends.
